The Axcess Internet Network Operations Center will be implementing changes to our Domain Naming System (DNS) for the domain futurelnk.net
This domain was acquired by Axcess Internet during the purchase of FutureNET in 2004. Since that time the domain has been zoned on two of Axcess’ primary DNS servers (ns1.netaxcess.com and ns2.netaxcess.com); however, these DNS servers are scheduled to be decommissioned soon and the domain must be moved to our new DNS servers.
DATE: Saturday, November 13th, 2010, 12:01AM PST
REASON: Change DNS zone information on futurelnk.net
OUTAGE DURATION: Up to 24 hours for DNS propagation to complete. Those customers using the futurelnk.net domain may encounter problems sending/receiving email while the DNS servers are updated worldwide.
MARKET(S) AFFECTED: Only those members who are currently using the futurelnk.net domain.
TROUBLESHOOTING: Those clients using the futurelnk.net domain, may change their mail server settings from mail.futurelnk.net to mail.netaxcess.com to avoid any disruption in service.
